Install Truffle
Early-access users get access to the private repository. Then pick how you work.
Claude Code
Run these inside Claude Code. The plugin brings the MCP server, the store index and the find-stores skill.
$ /plugin marketplace add maurorisso/truffle$ /plugin install truffle@truffle
Then ask for leads in plain words, or run the skill:
$ /truffle:find-stores small German jewellery brands, 10 to 500 products
Any MCP client
Clone the repo, build once, and point your client at the server. It runs locally over stdio and needs Node 22.13 or newer.
$ git clone git@github.com:maurorisso/truffle.git && cd truffle$ bun install && bun run build:plugin

"truffle": {

}
}
}Tools
- index_stats
- What the index holds: store counts, top apps and themes, and the app ids you can filter on.
- search_stores
- Filter stores by keywords, country, product count, median price, apps present or missing, theme and store age.
- research_stores
- Live research on up to 10 stores at once, brief by default, so a long shortlist fits in one conversation.
- research_store
- Full live research on one store: catalogue, apps, socials, the Impressum, and labelled contact channels.
Where your data lives
The index and the research cache live in ~/.truffle on your machine. Research requests go from your machine straight to the store, identified as TruffleBot, at a polite rate.
